Bijou Phillips is an American actress, model and singer born on April 1, 1980 in Greenwich, Connecticut. She is the daughter of the late singer John Phillips of The Mamas and the Papas from his marriage to South African model and actress Genevieve Waite. Bijou Phillips has an older brother, Tamerlane, and half-siblings from her father’s side, namely Mackenzie, Jeffrey and Chynna.
Bijou Phillips began her career at the age of 13 by becoming a model for the magazines “Interview” and “Italian Vogue”. Bijou Phillips also appeared on other magazines such as Playboy, Stuff, Detour, People, Paper, Nylon, 944 and Missbehave. Bijou Phillips also walked the runway for designers Heatherette and Jill Stuart.
When it comes to movies, Bijou Phillips began acting professionally at the age of 17, and had a critically-praised performance in the movie “Black and White.” Bijou Phillips later gained roles in movies such as “Bully” and “The Door in the Floor.” Soon after, Bijou Phillips established her name as an actress by doing another critically acclaimed role in the movie “Havoc.” Bijou Phillips also starred in the movies “Almost Famous,” “Choke,” “What We Do is Secret,” “Made for Each Other,” “Chelsea Hotel,” “Tart” and “Sofa.”

Bijou Phillips is engaged to actor Danny Masterson of “That ‘70s Show.” They met at a poker tournament in Las Vegas back in 2004. Bijou and Masterson are devout Scientologists.
